Every wedding at Tranquility Farm is booked on exclusive use of contracted spaces. No overlapping celebrations, no shared venues.
Most weddings here arrive on a Friday.
The accommodations open, bags find their rooms, and something in the air changes. The town is five minutes behind you but already feels like another world. Tranquility Road earns its name the moment the gravel begins.
The Manor House settles around you — heart pine floors, plaster crown molding, two centuries of quiet held in the walls. The Vineyard Cottage catches the last of the afternoon from the hilltop, the whole valley spread below it. The Grüner Bungalow sits steps from the winery — pool open, game room ready, eight bedrooms already claimed. The weekend has properly begun.
By early evening the vines catch the last of the light. Draksha sparkling is cold. Someone finds the Belvedere and doesn't want to leave it. The fireplace at its centre — enameled in the deep colour of Blaufränkisch, as if the room was always waiting for this — holds the room together while the valley disappears into dusk.
This is the part nobody schedules. Families who haven't met yet find each other over a glass. Old friends pick up where they left off. The wedding party drifts between the Terrace and the tasting room, unhurried, the vineyard below the glass and the mountain beyond it. A selection of wines from the estate — Otium artisanal whites and reds, Draksha sparkling — moves through the room without ceremony. No formal welcome yet. Just the estate doing what it does best: putting the right people in a beautiful place and letting the evening find its own shape.
Friday belongs to the estate.
Saturday is the day itself. Seven ceremony settings, each already part of the land — the Bank Barn with its centuries of quiet ceremony, the Glass Manor catching mountain light at the foot of the silo, the Lovett Courtyard where 1807 stone still stands exactly as it was left. The estate offers the setting. The couple brings the story. The two things meet somewhere in the middle of the afternoon, with the Blue Ridge sitting behind everything like it always has.
The reception carries into the evening. Otium and Draksha pour throughout — from the estate's own vineyards in Loudoun County, served at the celebration they were always meant for. The silo stands at 130 feet against the dark sky. The valley holds the sound a little longer than you'd expect.
Sometime after ten, it quiets.
Sunday morning arrives slowly. Coffee on the terrace — whichever one you woke up on — the vineyard still and unhurried, the Blue Ridge doing what it always does. The kind of morning that asks nothing of you except to be present in it. Brunch somewhere on the estate — the Lovett Courtyard if the weather agrees, the Manor House if it doesn't.
Most leave by noon.
A few find reasons to stay a little longer.
They always do.
The Historic Bank Barn and Glass Manor are the two primary reception venues — distinct in character, both exclusively yours when contracted. Seven ceremony settings surround them, from a vineyard hilltop to a wisteria-covered terrace at the back of the manor. Each space is described below as it actually is.
Wide plank floors, aged timber, picture windows overlooking the vineyard. Climate-controlled throughout — uncommon in a barn of this age. The lower level has four original church pews set into stone walls — a separate indoor ceremony space when the weather decides otherwise.
Floor-to-ceiling glass on all sides. The silo anchors the space. Wraparound patios edged by fieldstone walls open directly to the landscape — guests move between inside and out without thinking about it. Seats 300 for dinner. Works equally well as a standing reception.
From a vineyard hilltop to a wisteria-covered terrace at the back of the manor house — each ceremony site has its own character. Your planner selects the right setting for your vision, with a weather contingency plan in place for every option.

Elevated above the vineyard with an open sky backdrop. The widest view on the property — Blue Ridge on the western horizon.

A wisteria-covered wooden shade structure at the back of the manor house. Stonewalls contain the space; vineyard and ponds lie ahead. Sheltered and open at the same time.

Vineyard and winery views through a large moon gate. A consistent favourite with photographers.

Anchored by the 130-foot estate silo. An open outdoor gathering area that accommodates over 300 — ideal for larger ceremonies and welcome events.

Also known as the Lovett Courtyard. Historic stone surface at the manor house — contained, intimate, and well suited to smaller gatherings.

A flex space serving both the Bank Barn and Glass Manor — stone steps on one level, a pine-canopied terrace eight feet above. Two distinct settings connected by the same site.
Four original church pews set into stone walls. One level below the main floor of the Bank Barn — quiet, sheltered, and entirely separate from the reception above.
The weather contingency for outdoor ceremonies. Also a ceremony setting in its own right for couples who want something small and genuinely old.
Four frameworks — from a single day to a full 48-hour estate weekend. Each reserves your contracted spaces exclusively. Pricing varies by season and day of week.
The full farm for two or three days. Your families wake up here on Saturday morning. The rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, ceremony, and farewell brunch happen without anyone getting in a car. The Manor House, Bank Barn, Glass Manor, Vineyard Cottage, and Silo Lounge — exclusively yours. Overnight accommodations included.
One day, done properly. A 13-hour window from 10am to 11pm — enough time for a ceremony, a full reception, and an evening that goes where it wants. Available on weekdays and weekends, with a winter rate from December through mid-March. Additional days can be added to either end.
The Manor House and its grounds — for up to 50 people who all know each other. The ceremony lawn, Flagstone Courtyard, and Wisteria Terrace. Intimate by design, not by compromise. The Bank Barn is available as a weather contingency. Overnight stays can be added. Limited dates.
Some celebrations don't fit a format. Multi-day gatherings, full family weekends, arrivals on Thursday, departures on Monday — whatever the shape, we build around it. Reach out and tell us what you have in mind.
